Welcome to my Fulbright journey living in Romania as an English Teaching Assistant for a year.
As an American of Romanian heritage, I decided to apply for a Fulbright in Romania to connect more deeply with my cultural roots while teaching English and sharing American culture with university students here in Romania. Having visited Romania numerous times in my childhood, I want to experience what it’s like to live in Romania for a year.
This year, I’m living in Arad and Oradea in the broader Transylvanian region of Romania. This blog is dedicated to capturing and sharing the moments and lessons learned from this experience. I hope you find it insightful.
